Senior / Junior Full Stack Developer

Foqcus Sdn Bhd is looking for a Senior/ Junior Full Stack Software Engineer capable of addressing ambiguity and solving complex problems with minimal technical assistance or supervision. The ideal candidate will have expert-level capabilities in at least one major technology stack. They will have expert-level experience in both front-end and back-end development. They write frontend code that is highly accessible and maintainable and will have designed and implemented well-structured, reliable, maintainable APIs in a complex problem domain. They mentor and guide more junior engineers through the development process, including debugging and new skills acquisition. They communicate with stakeholders, other teams, and partners to generate, assess, and execute on product development or integration requirements. Their experience in the field can be used to effectively evaluate and communicate tradeoffs between implementation complexity and other technical and non-technical costs.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications, services, and APIs
Bachelor of Science in Technology or Software Engineering and/or related discipline
Experience developing web applications in Node.js, React.js, Lumen/Laravel PHP or similar technologies
Programming in a major open source language, experienced and understanding on open source components and framework
Understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
Understanding on Docker, Micro-services architecture and Kurbenetes is recommended
Proficient spelling, grammar, and communication skills
Experience in bulding highly scalable web applications that serves public users is added advantage
Experience in building multi-tenancy web applications is added advantage
Experience and understanding of one or more different agile methodologies, including Scrum, XP, or TDD
Experience with Amazon Web Services, in particular EC2, S3, and RDS
Experience in CI/CD / Jenkins is a plus point
Responsibilities
Use Node.js, React, HTML5, Lumen/Laravel PHP, JavaScript, CSS and/or other programming languages to build scalable services that gracefully integrate with different subsystems.
Build APIs that support both the microservices containers we deliver as well as third- party usage
Use unit and integration testing to ensure systems meet business needs
Ship software that inline with company Continuous Integration and Deployment standard and framework
Deliver assignments according to team direction, understanding on Agile software development methodology
Build new and support existing software systems of the company
Take ownership of software built and take leadership to maintain high standards of software quality.
